Hello,
For the X11 graphic device, parentheses are not displayed in 
labels for constructions like:

    X11()
    plot(0,0, ylab=expression(f(x)))

In this case, ylabel shows : 'yx' and not 'y(x)' as expected.
The same problem appears also with 'xlab' and 'sub' but not
with 'main':

    X11()
    plot(0,0, xlab=expression(x(t)), ylab=expression(y(t)), 
         main=expression(m(t)), sub=expression(s(t)))
