[Rd] latitude <-> longitude in quake.tab (PR#1312)
Full_Name: Chao-Kuei Hung Version: 1.3.1 OS: RedHat Linux 7.0 Submission from: (NULL) (163.32.17.245) Dear all, I checked a world map and realized that Tonga Trench lies near 20S176W, i.e. latitude -20, longitude 184. The labels in the file library/base/data/quakes.tab got latitude and longitude mixed up. (Latitudes should always be within +-90 anyway :-) Thanks for your attention. BTW, it would be nice if there are more real-world sample data files with categorical data -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-devel mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
