Full_Name: David Richmond Version: 1.3.0 OS: MacOS 8.6 Submission from: (NULL) (147.53.3.18) Forgive me if this isn't the correct forum for these comments but: text output on the mac is abysmally slow. If I inadvertently ask R to echo a 100x100 matrix, it takes so long to display that I generally have to leave the room and go do something else for awhile. I've tried to break it, (ctrl-c, cmd-.) but there doesn't seem to be an implemented break sequence (I noticed that everything else stops too, my mp3 player stops playing music, etc). I also notice that the longer the output gets, the slower it goes. -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-devel mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
