R devel - Jun 1999 - dput and options()$digits (PR#203)

dput seems to rely on the setting of options()$digits to determine the precision

with which things are written, and the default digits does not seem adequate
(e.g. time series attributes can get truncated enough to make them invalid). A
default for dput of digits=16 would be better.

This has been fixed for a while now for the next release (0.65),
[always available as daily snapshot "R-devel..." from CRAN].
