A couple of quibbles with Guidos new version: Certain "upper-ascii" characters do not show on the command line unless followed by a nonblank. One of those being the last(!) letter of the Danish alphabet, "å" (aring). Very peculiar. On drives mounted from a Novell server, R refuses to overwrite existing .RData and .RHistory files on shutdown. Works fine on real hard drives. One strange effect has been seen involving the console font suddenly changing to a proportional one, and I also had a couple of GPFs, but I don't think I can reproduce them (yet). One of my colleagues also said that there was trouble with releasing files under NT. He was writing SAS commands to a file and the running SAS on it after closing it, but SAS couldn't open it. -- O__ ---- Peter Dalgaard Blegdamsvej 3 c/ /'_ --- Dept. of Biostatistics 2200 Cph.
