I have just converted the PostScript graphics driver so that it uses Latin1 encoding. This should make it possible for Western European users to render their languages correctly in plots. It is would also be possible to add other encodings. In particular, if someone could send me a postscript fragment which produces a fonts with a Latin2 encoding from a standard Adobe one, we can cover Eastern Europe too (the Latin2 encoding does not appear to be present in standard postscript interpreters). [ This should be available in the development snapshots soon. ] Ross -.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.- r-devel mailing list -- Read http://www.ci.tuwien.ac.at/~hornik/R/R-FAQ.html Send "info", "help", or "[un]subscribe" (in the "body", not the subject !)
