The point about that manual is, that it is a *daily* updated version of the
online help about the *development* version of R, i.e, currently 0.62.
It is *PART* of the new development version which you can get from
<CRAN>/src/devel/R-snapshot.tar.gz
After unpacking, you should be able to just say
make docs
and then finally have the HTML manual netscape-accessable in
file:<installdir>/doc/html/index.html
There is now even a java-based search engine (not yet complete) available
besides Packages and Functions:
