qemu discuss - Apr 2010 - QEMU project still alive?

Is this project still alive? It has been awful quiet here since some time.
Are there updates or news?

Hi Olga,

I think the main problem is a lack of user-demand.
What 99% of the users seem to want is the x86 x86 virtualization case.
Emulation of other CPU?s is of little interest for most. And running x86 on
another ISA (such as SPARC) is also not demanded anymore, as most Desktop users
nowadays run x86 natively.

I think: Most x86 x x86 users take VirtualBox now (and Bordeuax Wine)
And the few remaining users of SPARC-Desktops either take SunPCI3 or build qemu
themselves.

It is sad, yes!
