I downloaded the "QEMU 0.8.2 CVS20070120 + patches snapshot January 20th 2007" and it was compiled ok for "ppc-softmmu" but failed in the "sparc-softmmu" with the message: ../dyngen -o op.h op.o dyngen: ret; restore; not found at end of op_ldstub_kernel can someone tell me what to do or where can I find a QEMU software running on solaris/sparc to lunch linux processes? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
get a current CVS tree. Lots of solaris fixes have been put in since last year. Thank you for your response. Can you give one link for the CVS tree? I am not sure I know exactly what to take and it is very urgent for us to approve this tool chain -- This message posted from opensolaris.org

Thank you for your useful answer. I compiled the new sources from the opensolaris site and it passed O.K. I have a lot of files like qemu, qemu-system-ppc etc. Can you tell me exactly how to run it and from where to take the image file if I want to run Qemu for PPC target? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
I got your replay although it still does not apear in the Discussions. I read the documentation on www.qemu.com but It still does not work. I tried to run qemu and qemu-system-ppc with parameters. A process was initiated but nothing happened. Maybe everything is written in the documentation but I still didn''t succeed to make it work. I am not familiar with QEMU and It works somehow different. You helped me to very much to get the Qemu and to install it. Please be kind to give me the last explanation how to operate it on the Solaris host for PPc Target. -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
