Has the scsi code been removed again?? At least are the bin/qemu options missing now. Version still prints 0.8.2 Just booted 98SE on sparc host, cd-rom now visible again :-) CVS code now usable again. SUNWqemu pkg release hopefully this WE. Updated diffs to follow. Till then --Martin
> Has the scsi code been removed again??IIRC, the scsi code was pulled out, but a couple of bits were put back in. I''d have to check the CVS logs for sure.> At least are the bin/qemu options missing now. > Version still prints 0.8.2Yeah, I saw a 0.8.3 in one of the files, which made me think they were getting ready to release 0.8.3. However, I think it will be at least a few more weeks before that happens with the integration of that huge darwin patch.> > Just booted 98SE on sparc host, cd-rom now visible > again :-)Yeah. JK does it again. Can we *Please* get that patch commited?> CVS code now usable again. > SUNWqemu pkg release hopefully this WE.Blastwave''s libSDL is still at 1.0.9, but patches were posted for libSDL''s 1.0.11 version. Any idea about that?> Updated diffs to follow. You''re submitting the patches to CVS, yes? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org

[qemu-discuss] Re: qemu_cvs20070119fri looks much better

Any idea about that?Did you rather mean 1.2.11? Maybe this: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/qemu/downloads/SDL-1.2.11-runtimelibdir.patch.gz ? What are you referring to?? Generic libSDL patches or some qemu specific ones? Or just the amd64_Solaris thing? Otherwise: What does whatever patch have to deal with a binary CSW package, whether outdated or not? Relax: SUNWqemu is designed to be 100% independent from external packages, whether outdated CSW packages or anything else, it is built to run on a default Solaris10_03/05 system_++ (only EndUserInstallCluster must be present). Note: kqemu requires Nevada but the rest will also work on Sol10FCS. It does ship with its own libSDL 1.2.11 (src is here: http://www.opensolaris.org/os/project/qemu/downloads/SDL-1.2.11.tar.gz ). Better: To ensure that it _always_ finds and uses its "own" co-packaged version of libSDL in /opt/SUNWqemu/lib, I had created two runtime linking configuration files /opt/SUNWqemu/var/ld/64/ld.config /opt/SUNWqemu/var/ld/ld.config, and linked appropriately. i.e. its content for x64: /opt/SUNWqemu/lib/64:/usr/sfw/lib/64:/lib/64:/usr/lib/64 No LD_LIBRARY_PATH, LD_RUN_PATH or friends are needed.> > Updated diffs to follow. > > You''re submitting the patches to CVS, yes?Sure ..., but first getting things more perfect.
