[qemu-discuss] Searching xorg.conf for Nexenta alpha6 running on qemu 0.8.2
Does anybody have a working xorg.conf for running Nexenta alpha6 on qemu 0.8.2? After the installation I only have a 640x480 display .... I would like a 1024x768 or 1280x1024 display . Thanks Bernd -- This message posted from opensolaris.org

I''ll see if I have an xorg.conf file still hanging around. I know I was able to get 1152x764 out of the driver before they improved the qemu video emulation. I suspect you''d probably have to setup the HorizSync and VertRefresh values in the xorg.conf file to something that the display could manage, and it should work as long as you''re also naming the device type (trident) as it''s a gdb5446. Because the virtual display doesn''t have EDID, it probably won''t autoconfigure they way you''d expect it to. In the meantime, I''ll see if any my old SX qemu guest images are still around and see if I can dig up the xorg.conf. HTH Ben -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
