Hello, I'm trying to make Beaker talk to our vSphere server, but I'm running into problems with rbvmomi, and I'm getting the same problem using rvc, namely I keep getting the "unknown VMODL type AnyType". Now I realize these aren't really Puppet problems, I just thought I'd ask if anyone has managed to get a similar setup working? Some things I've tried based on stuff I dug up on Google: Downgrade rbvmomi/rvc to 1.6, this works as far as I can tell, at least rvc works as expected in this setup. Problem being Beaker and it's dependencies require 1.8 of both rbvmomi andrvc. Different ruby versions, I've tried 1.9.3, 2.0 and 2.1.1 so far, same deal with all of them. It also seems like vmware has semi-abandoned rbvmomi/rvc considering there are quite a few pull requests that are pretty ancient and that fix some rather obviously bad things, so I guess I might as well ask, does anyone know what the status of the whole thing is from vmware's view?
