[Puppet Users] Enterprise Puppet 3 with AIX WPAR support
Hello All Just wondering where to manage an AIX server with multiple WPARS. At the host level or at each guest level? It seems like one way would be easier than another. I just can''t figure out which one that is. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. You have a few options, if I understand your question correctly. Making a wpar with a shared /opt and /usr will allow you to use the same PE...sort of. It''s a little bit odd. With wpars that share /usr and /opt, you basically run puppet enterprise on the ring0 (for lack of a better term) node, you could update items within the WPAR volume. So, I am not sure which one is better either. I certainly would be interested to hear your use cases or ideas, as I found it WPARs to be a bit odd to work with on the whole as well.
