What does this error mean? Could not retrieve macaddress: undefined method `exec_ifconfig'' for Facter::Util::IP:Module I''ve done a complete uninstallation puppet and facter a few times and reinstalled them to no avail. Any thoughts would be appreciated. I suspected as much and went through the system in question with a sword the day after I posted my query. I uninstalled puppet, facter and ruby and then went through the ruby trees to find any suspect vestiges of puppet/facter hanging around. Re-installed everything and the problem went away. Drastic.. but it worked. -- Peter L. Berghold Salty.Cowdawg@gmail.com http://blog.berghold.net -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
