Puppet users - Jul 2012 - Where do I store a new package provider?

If I''ve created a new package provider do I need to install it under
every
module i want to use it in? Where should it love? I want to make it the 
default provider for windows. Any help would be much appreciated.

you can show it your love everywhere ;-)

But seriously, plugins get synced indiscriminately, afaik, so place it
in the most appropriate module, and only there.

There are magics in providers to make them default, like ''defaultfor
:operatingsystem => [:windows]''.
