[Puppet Users] Re: Inventory Service on RHEL - uninitalized constant ActiveRecord
Update: I found the problem. My company''s RHEL 6 template image had customized/hardened umask settings. When I reverted the umask settings to their default values, everything worked fine. It must have been some sort of permission issues.. -Michael On Monday, June 18, 2012 4:34:37 PM UTC-4, Michael Altfield wrote:> > Hi, > > Has anyone had success getting the Inventory Service running in RHEL 6? > > My Puppet Nodes are getting the following error: > >> [root@puppetnode-01 ~]# puppetd --debug --verbose --no-daemonize >> ... >> err: Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: Error 400 on SERVER: >> Could not autoload inventory_active_record: uninitialized constant >> ActiveRecord >> ... > > > Here''s the gems I have installed: > >> [root@puppetmaster ~]# gem list >> *** LOCAL GEMS *** >> activemodel (3.0.11) >> activerecord (3.0.11) >> activesupport (3.0.11) >> arel (2.0.10) >> builder (2.1.2) >> daemon_controller (1.0.0) >> fastthread (1.0.7) >> i18n (0.5.0) >> passenger (3.0.13) >> rack (1.1.0) >> rake (0.9.2.2, 0.8.7) >> tzinfo (0.3.33) > > > Any help will be much appreciated! >-- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
