Puppet users - Feb 2012 - Creating group of nodes with different class

Hi,

How can I create two nodes with differnert hostnames i.e, nodeSD.pp &
nodesCTO.pp & import that nodes
in site.pp with different classes (class1 & class2) such as,
classes1 with nodesSD.pp
classes2 with nodesCTO.pp

Both the classes has different configuration & need to be run with
different nodes

Can anyone please assist me regarding the above senario.

Hi,

So I assume you have two class definitions like this, either in site.pp 
or in modules:

class class1 {

    ...

}

class class2 {

    ...

}


You can then use a node definition in site.pp and "include" the 
necessary classes like this:

node ''nodesSD'' {

    include class1

}

node ''nodesCTO'' {

    include class2

}
