Can''t really call downcase function in the middle of a string you need
to create another variable:
$dcos = downcase($::operatingsystem)
$repourl =
"http://www.eucalyptussoftware.com/downloads/repo/eucalyptus/${version}/yum/${dcos}/${::architecture}"
This should be what you get:
