[Puppet Users] Puppet Dashboard - Blank "Run Time" Chart in Node Details
Hi, As far as I understand it we need to modify puppet/share/puppet- dashboard/config/environment.rb in order to adjust the time zone of the Puppet Dashboard. I''ve changed the UTC variable to "Sydney" and the reports are now displaying the right time. Unfortunately the "Run Time" chart is completely blank and appears to be using the UTC variable. Is it possible to move this configuration to a config file that is persistent through upgrades? I noted that when I upgraded from RC4 -> RC6 the time variable was overwritten. Hi, I also have a completely blank "Run Time" chart on a new deployment of dashboard 1.0.4. Do you have any idea where I might look to try to fix this problem? Unfortunately I don''t have a Dashboard (or Puppet!) on hand at the moment, but are you all using Puppet version 2.6.x? The format of the reports has changed and some functionality isn''t compatible such as a the graph images of a node''s Puppet running times. Is that what you are talking about? The puppet-dashboard install page: http://docs.puppetlabs.com/guides/installing_dashboard.html does not clarify version compatibility. There was an email thread mentioning this a few months ago, but I can''t find it now. Did find this open bug report: http://projects.puppetlabs.com/issues/4514 2.6.x clients can upload reports to Dashboard 1.0.4, but it''s not fully functioning. If you''ve still got some old 2.5 clients around it probably all looks good. If you watch that bug it will get more and more interest by by the Puppet Devs. On Mar 10, 9:22 am, Robert Pumphrey <rob.pumph...@gmail.com> wrote:> C > > On Mar 9, 3:59 pm, Luke Bigum <Luke.Bi...@lmax.com> wrote: > > > Unfortunately I don''t have a Dashboard (or Puppet!) on hand at the > > moment, but are you all using Puppet version 2.6.x?
