Puppet users - Oct 2010 - Initial install, error when starting puppermasterd: Could not find CA certificate

Hey all,

I''m new to the community. I''m trying to get this running in a
dev
environment and am performing the initial install of the puppetmaster
server. Everything has gone well so far, except...

When I start puppermasterd, I get:

notice: Starting Puppet master version 2.6.2
Could not run: Could not find CA certificate

I can provide debug output if needed.

If this group isn''t the right place in which to report problems,
please let me know what is.

That''s a rather strange error.  

What''s your operating system?

How did you install puppetmaster? (Gem, deb, apt, yum, etc...)

What''s in /etc/puppet/puppet.conf?
