Hi Ghislain,
Most of the dashboard documentation is still in the README, see
http://github.com/reductivelabs/puppet-dashboard/blob/master/README.markdown
.
We can''t unfortunately merge the two codebases, but one of the upcoming
features in Dashboard should make it much easier to merge ideas between the
two and allow it to be extended even without accepting patches. Namely,
we''re going to be making dashboard extensible in terms of drop in
modules
and widget plugins. Thus it would be possible to make an rpm/deb/tarball,
etc that added new tabs and other features to the framework, and be able to
use the existing features in the code from those plugins.
Rein''s been working on a new release that should be out very soon
(including
various bugfixes, etc), though that extensibility feature will be in the
next following release. Releases should be coming out about monthly.
