Why is that I can only obtain certain variables from facter via the command line, though it will dump everything without an arg? For example, I''m on a ProLiant running Redhat 5... facter (running as root) will dump out all its variables, but if I try to do: # facter productname it returns nothing. It will show that in the full display: productname => ProLiant DL360 G5 Is there some reason for that?
