[Puppet Users] Fedora / EL: Puppet 0.25.1 RPMs in -testing repositories
Hi there, I wanted to let you know that the most recent release of Puppet (e.g. 0.25.1) is available through the various updates-testing repositories; To get these packages, type something similar to: # yum --enablerepo=epel-testing update puppet on Enterprise Linux, or: # yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update puppet on Fedora. Note that before upgrading the clients, you should upgrade the puppetmaster: # yum --enablerepo=epel-testing update puppet-server assuming you run the server on Enterprise Linux. As these packages upgrade users from the 0.24.x series, they will most likely remain in the -testing repositories for quite a while; either until 0.25.2 is released -which will then obsolete the 0.25.1 update, or when sufficient people are happy with 0.25.1 -upgrading from 0.24.x. If you are one of the happy or unhappy users, please leave a comment on our updates management web-interface[1], log a bug in bugzilla[2] or contact either me or Todd Zullinger.
