Hi All, I notice from http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/PuppetWindows that puppet will be able to run on windows as of 0.26.0. The document only really talks about managing users, are there plans to expand this to other things, or are there other functions that are enabled already...or should I just read the source code and find out? :P I''m specifically thinking about management of IIS configs etc. Thanks in advance, M. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. It''ll be a few simple providers initially. See my mail to the puppet-dev list: http://groups.google.com/group/puppet-users/browse_thread/thread/30f77392e3717576?pli=1> I''m specifically thinking about management of IIS configs etc.It should be possible via the metabase, but isn''t the first priority. What platform/versions are you wanting to support. What sort of functionality would you want for IIS configuration? I hope to mail the current patches to clean up core and a status update to list on the weekend Paul --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group. What sort of > functionality would you want for IIS configuration?Initally, MimeTypes in IIS 6/7 ideally to begin with. We have a pretty specific custom config here, however the ability to manage the mime types (and possibly system updates!) would be an excellent start for us. Not sure where this fits in on the roadmap etc, however if you need a guinea pig, let me know, Matt. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
