For what it''s worth, I''ve been having a heck of a time getting puppetmaster and puppet to communicate over the last few days. I just went back to puppet 0.24.8 and it worked on the _very_ first attempt. In both instances the config files were generated from genconf. Methinks 0.25 is broken in some way. I know others are using 0.25.0 without major issues either.
