[Puppet Users] passenger-status gives error but passenger is working fine
Hi I installed passenger 2.2.2 using gem and running puppetmaster 0.24.8 with apache2 on ubuntu 9.04 I followed the steps on wiki Passenger http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/UsingPassenger My puppet clients getting the manifests and catalogs fine and it is all working well with apache2/passenger However `passenger-status'' is giving the following ERROR message # passenger-status ERROR: Phusion Passenger doesn''t seem to be running. As you can passenger is actually running # ps -ef | grep -i passenger root 7820 7804 0 12:02 ? 00:00:00 /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/passenger-2.2.2/ext/apache2/ApplicationPoolServerExecutable 0 /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/passenger-2.2.2/bin/passenger-spawn-server /usr/bin/ruby1.8 /tmp/passenger.7804 root 7821 7820 0 12:02 ? 00:00:00 Passenger spawn server Am I hitting a bug? -- Asif Iqbal PGP Key: 0xE62693C5 KeyServer: pgp.mit.edu A: Because it messes up the order in which people normally read text. /usr/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/passenger-2.2.2/bin/passenger-status does that give you the same error? It sounds like you might have two different passenger installs.... ? Hmm I would double check your config files and maybe uninstall passenger and try again. -L -- Larry Ludwig Reductive Labs --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
