As my project with puppet grows Id like to some extent manage network devices as well, starting off with some basic inventory stuff like pulling facts and pushing a config shouldent be too hard? This has to be done in a client-less mode, is this something thats encouraged or is the developing part of the community just not interested? Im not expecting to do all the stuff to a 5 year old cisco box as I can do with a vanilla linux server but rather, not have anything not being managed by our puppet setup. This sort of stuff has to be done anyway when you populate a CMDB for example. This could be a cool plugin based on capistrano! /flash --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Puppet Users" group.
