HI, I''ve spent a little bit of time hacking the http://reductivelabs.com/trac/puppet/wiki/Recipes/AmazonWebService recipe to work on my environment. I''ve got to the stage where the puppet client downloads using the authenticated URL. This works most of the time, however sometimes when there may be a dependency fail beforehand it stops working - i''ve figured out this is due to the authenticated URL expiring - which is great that this expires, but bad news for the client when the dependency is fixed. What I ideally need is for the puppet master to know that the s3get is failing, and generate a new authenticated command, rather than keep on supplying the expired cached command. I''ve got a feeling the refresh property is what I need, but stumped on where to stick it.
