difficulty in enabling that is making sure that puppet doesn''t run

groupinstall'' (or ''yum groupupdate'') on every run. To

then check if any of them is mentioned in @updates. That change would
need to go into the ''latest'' method.

If you''re happy with running groupinstall/groupupdate on every puppet
run though, your plan sounds like it should work.

Thanks for the information David.  I''m not too familiar with Ruby yet,
but I''ll see if I can wrestle some semblance of workable code in, and
submit it as a round-1 type approach.
