Hello... two questions: Does anyone know why the FreeBSD ports tree does not have the latest puppet releases? Has anyone gotten storeconfigs working on FreeBSD? I wiki page helped, but I never get anything into the mysql DB. storeconfigs = true dbadapter = mysql dbuser = puppet dbpassword = secret dbserver = localhost dbsocket = /tmp/mysqld.sock freebsd 6.2 with: facter-1.3.8 A cross-platform Ruby library for retrieving facts from OS puppet-devel-0.23.2 A configuration management framework written in Ruby ruby-1.8.6.111_1,1 An object-oriented interpreted scripting language ruby18-dbd_mysql-0.1.1 MySQL driver for DBI-for-Ruby ruby18-dbi-0.1.1 DBI-for-Ruby - a common interface for SQL-based databases ruby18-gems-1.0.1_4 Package management framework for the Ruby language ruby18-mysql-2.7.4 Ruby module for accessing MySQL databases with a C API like rubygem-activerecord-1.15.6 Object-relational mapping layer for Rails MVC Framework rubygem-activesupport-1.4.4 Utility classes and extension that are required by Rails MV rubygem-rails-1.2.6 MVC web application framework mysql-server-5.1.22 Multithreaded SQL database (server) -- Christopher McCrory "The guy that keeps the servers running" To the optimist, the glass is half full. It''s a volunteer project ya know. I haven''t had the time either, otherwise I''d have posted a patch. I have a local port with a bunch of back ported fixes from svn/git to 0.23.2. It would be nice to get rid of this and run a stock version.> > > Has anyone gotten storeconfigs working on FreeBSD?
