Puppet users - Sep 2007 - Cached function values?

Hello:

I think I noticed that functions appear to be cached:

$r = function(args)

will return the same whenever args is the same.

I worked around this by doing:

$f = function(args,timenow())

Is there a more elegant workaround possible?

Functions are not cached any where that I am aware of or can find.

You''re sure that the configuration just isn''t being recompiled
