Yes, that fixes the problem for me. I applied the patch to the
current Debian stable "xen" source package and it also fixed the
issue.

Super. Did you run a packaged version from Debian or an upstream
version? Can you let me know which so I can tell the BTS about it
please.

Excellent. By coincidence this was backported to the upstream stable
branches yesterday.

Sorry, I did not try the Debian package from experimental, I just
downloaded and compiled 4.6.0 from
http://xenproject.org/downloads/xen-archives/xen-46-series/xen-460.html.
I mainly wanted it to work with the current Debian stable package.
