We found a crash in qemu-dm contained in the xen-utils-4.1 package. You are

xen-utils-4.1 is not in unstable, so this is not really helpful.

Could you please explain why "exit 1" is a crash?

I can still install it in my VM and this page shows a xen-utils-4.1 in
sid: http://packages.debian.org/sid/xen-utils-4.1. I'm not sure what
you mean when you say it's not in unstable.

"exit 1" is obviously not a crash. However, qemu-dm produced a core
dump, and that is why we sent you a crash. Here is the output of gdb
when I load the core dump.

Core was generated by `/usr/lib/xen-4.1/bin/qemu-dm -daemonize'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
#0  0xb764ac27 in ?? ()

The exit code should have been 139, but our system recorded 1 for some
reason. Sorry about the confusion.
