[Pkg-xen-devel] Bug#586654: linux-image-2.6.32-5-xen-amd64_2.6.32-15_amd64 does not boot with xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64_4.0.0-1_amd64
Package: xen-hypervisor-4.0-amd64 Version: 4.0.0-1 Severity: grave The only thing I can read is: ERROR: Unable to locate IOAPIC for GSI 2 ERROR: Unable to locate IOAPIC for GSI 9 ERROR: Unable to locate IOAPIC for GSI 9 cannot read /etc/fstab: no such file or directory mounting [...] failed: no such file or directory I boot with: moltiboot [xen] module [kernel] root=[uuid or device] ro quiet nomodeset module [initrd] It's a Xeon W3520 with 6GB of ECC ram, debian sid amd64 (with python metapackages from testing, otherwise I cannot install xen-utils-4.0 because it wants python2.5). vt-d is enabled in the bios (flashed with the latest version).
