pkg kde talk - Nov 2010 - Git branches: master open, Squeeze specific changes should be done in 'squeeze' branches

Hello,

an update on recommended policy changes for git branches of 
kde-{sc,std,req}/krap repositories.

Since Squeeze is in a very deep freeze, it is recommended to continue Squeeze 
specific packaging in the branches named ''squeeze''. When
creating squeeze
branch, make sure do it from the right point in the git history or appropriate 
debian tag.

As a result, master branches are now open for packaging of new upstream 
releases (e.g. KDE 4.6) or other changes which are not meant for Squeeze. 
Don''t forget to merge squeeze branch back master once a new
Squeeze-specific
upload is done.
