Hi, I''m trying to do the copyright file of kdebase-workspace at this moment, with the goal of upload it tonight. Old kdebase has been split now in kdebase-workspace that is only X11 (no osx/windows) and kdebase. If you want more info about what is in earch package, you can read the Mainpage.dox and README files included in both tarballs. We (pusling and me) have been discussing in the IRC channel about the package split for kdebase-workspace, you can see the current one at: http://svn.debian.org/wsvn/pkg-kde/branches/kde4/packages/kdebase-workspace/debian/control?op=file&rev=0&sc=0 We mostly disagree with kmenuedit, kpager, ksplash and ktip. What do you think? Ana PS I''ll upload kdebase-workspace with this split, we can merge later according what we choose.

Not worth a pgk inflation. That kmenuedit is in -workspace confuses me. At least from my KDE3 experience it''s useful/needed, even without a KDE workspace. (E.g. how do I register my little app or script that it can handle this and that mimetype, or, how to I hide/ignore an app). Considering my confusion, it''s maybe a good idea to keep kmenuedit in it''s own package ;) Achim> > What do you think? > > > Ana > > PS I''ll upload kdebase-workspace with this split, we can merge later according > what we choose. > > > -- > http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/pkg-kde-talk > >-- To me vi is Zen. To use vi is to practice zen. Every command is a koan. Profound to the user, unintelligible to the uninitiated. You discover truth everytime you use it. -- reddy at lion.austin.ibm.com
Hi,> We mostly disagree with kmenuedit, kpager, ksplash and ktip.i tend to reduce package numbers and like achim, merge ksplash, kpager, and ktip into -workspace-bin *except* for kmenuedit, which i will prefer merged too in -workspace-bin instead of its own package. cheers, Fathi

to be clear and for the record ;) i tend to reduce package numbers and prefer to merge ksplash, kpager, ktip *AND* kmenuedit in -workspace-bin. cheers, Fathi

From the control tools within Word you should digit from a e-mail over the mailer for telnetting to the floppy disk on a Fast 3D front-side bus. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed... Plasma is currently in -workspace-bin - and I think it looks nice there. What''s the use for that thing outside kde deskop? /Sune -- Man, how to forward to the GUI from the options menu within DOS 2.5.8? From the control drawer inside Word you neither should ever disconnect the analogic forward, nor have to explore with a cache on a forward but you either can never load the OpenGL software to a code, or can''t reinstall the laser AT X utility over the provider to save a front-side bus. -------------- next part -------------- A non-text attachment was scrubbed...
