--nextPart1396235.96n75OeBmv Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable Content-Disposition: inline Hi guys, On our perpetual TODO has been reform of our (often) really awful package=20 descriptions: =2D-- KDE is a powerful Open Source graphical desktop environment for Unix workstations. It combines ease of use, contemporary functionality, and outstanding graphical design with the technological superiority of the Unix operating system. Package foo provides neat functionality. =2D-- A proposed solution can be found at: http://darkshines.net/tests/pkg-kde/descriptions.html I suggest that we adopt this general plan for updating package descriptions=20 in the 3.4 packages. It''s not that we all must cancel our dinner plans and=20 start writing now; it''s more that we should agree on a general format=20 within to work before we get too far. If anyone agrees/disagrees/has alternate ideas, then let''s talk.
