Pkg exim4 users - Feb 2011 - exim4-config doesn't start from command line

I''ve a problem with command dpkg-reconfigure exim4-config.
this command doesn''t start from command line.
please help me with this problem

If ldconfig segfaults, you got bigger problems than a non-working
reconfigure for exim4-config. Does this always happen, i.e. is this
error systematic?

If so, you might have got a hacked system. I would not trust this host
anymore.

I meant: does this segfault occor with the same programm (ldconfig) at
the same place (in /var/lib/dpkg/info/libc6-i686.postrm) if you try to
remove libc6-i686 again?

What are the results of "which ldconfig" and "file `which
ldconfig`"?
