Greetings, I am coming from years of Sendmail, and am investigating the possibility of using EXIM as a possible replacement. I have read every doc/wiki/info/how-to I could get my hands on. As such I now find myself with more questions than answers. Which is what brings me here. I suppose I should preface this question with the following: OS debian etch (current) ARC x86 (32bits) EXIM4 exim4-daemon-heavy exim4-conf-type single-conf OK, that being said, I''m attempting to use RBL''s to help filter out spammers. I read the suggested how-to located at: http://www.pseudorandom.co.uk/2006/mailserver/ which is great but begins by providing directions for both split and single, but suddenly drops single instructions/references at the RBL (dnslists) entry. I did my best to try and find and add the correct entry/ies. But didn''t feel confident enough to follow through. So I went to all the RBL''s I''m currently using on my Sendmail boxes to seek instructions. However, none of their instructions line up with the current *debian* configs. So here I am. OH. I also couldn''t find the /examples/ that were mentioned in several places during my investigations. Anyway, to the point; Would anybody be willing to post an example RBL entry with a reference to it''s whereabouts in the conffile? Thank you for all your time and consideration in this matter, and apologies in advance should this be considered excessive noise. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////// Service provided by hitOmeter.NET internet messaging! .
