[Pkg-exim4-users] update-exim4.conf.conf > dc_local_interfaces
Folk, In debian-user at Thu, 25 Jan 2007 12:45:38 -050, Roberto Sanchez suggested, "Setup mutt on the machine and ssh in when you are travelling." So in update-exim4.conf.conf I need these settings? dc_local_interfaces=''eth0 : eth1'' eth0 is for the tunnel _via_ the Internet and eth1 is for my untunnelled LAN connection. Thanks for any comments, ... Peter E.

I do not read debian-user. What''s you exact problem?> So in update-exim4.conf.conf I need these settings? > > dc_local_interfaces=''eth0 : eth1'' > > eth0 is for the tunnel _via_ the Internet > and eth1 is for my untunnelled LAN connection.local_interfaces holds a list of _IP addresses_, not interfaces. It is kind of a misnomer, but the name is wrong upstream. We are not going to move away from what upstream suggests. More information about local_interfaces can be found in spec.txt 13.1 through 13.2 and 13.8.
