[Pkg-exim4-users] Challenges with smarthost and local delivery
Hi, I have a smart host configuration working correctly on my system, ... almost. When I try to send to a local user, the mail is still sent to the smarthost. I want to process lists locally, but the list ''address'' is also forwarded to the localhost... Here is the list router config (from the exim docs): ##################################################### ### end router/800_exim4-config_maildrop ##################################################### lists: driver = redirect domains = lists.50plus file = /home/exim4/$local_part forbid_pipe forbid_file errors_to = davep no_more ##################################################### ### router/900_exim4-config_local_user ##################################################### Any hints - I am just not used to the way the debian config is handled.... -- aloha, dave

Please choose "mail sent by smarthost, mail received via SMTP or fetchmail" option.> I want to process lists locally, but the list ''address'' is also > forwarded to the localhost...the list address needs to be in a local domain to prevent the smarthost router from taking it.
