Hi friends.
I have my Etch with Exim4 and I wanna use it like small mail server (really
for my local/house LAN). My configuration is:
Small files: no
Type: Internet site
FQDN: <my domain name using dyndns>
Ip addresses to receive SMTP connections:
Final destiny: <my domain name using dyndns>
Relay servers: *
I can send emails using my server but dont receive emails, and dont have
closed the ports.
Please, How do I configure my local server to receive emails from Internet.
Thanks.

I have my IP from my ISP but it is dynamic, I use DynDNS to get a static domain name: pepo.homelinux.org How do I know if my ISP block emails that are trying to arrive to my home-server Thanks El Jueves, 22 de Febrero de 2007 10:33, Marc Haber escribi?:> On Thu, Feb 22, 2007 at 02:46:29AM -0500, Pepo wrote: > > I can send emails using my server but dont receive emails, and dont have > > closed the ports. > > And you are sure that your ISP does not block? I suggest you check your iptables configuration to make sure ICMP messages aren''t blocked, and that port 25 is open. HTH. Bill
