Pkg exim4 users - Nov 2005 - "local_scan_path" missing from exim4-daemon-heavy in Sarge?

I installed exim4-daemon-heavy (4.50-8) and sa-exim (4.2-2), added the 
local_scan_path to my configuration file (the template) as described:

local_scan_path = /usr/lib/exim4/local_scan/sa-exim.so

But I get an error where local_scan_path is unrecognized to exim:

Restarting MTA: 2005-11-04 01:35:20 Exim configuration error in line 681 
of /var/lib/exim4/config.autogenerated.tmp:
   option "local_scan_path" unknown

Looking around the web, it seems older versions (4.50-2?) were missing 
the dynamic loading patch which would cause this error.  Did it get left 
out of exim4-daemon-heavy by accident, or is there something I''m doing 
wrong?

Works for me here with the package versions in sarge.

Line 681 seems to be quite far back in the configuration. On my
reference system, this is right in the middle of the ACL definition,
which is out of place. The directive belongs in the main configuration
part of config.
