opus - May 2016 - Need to set OPUS_SIGNAL_VOICE for DTX ?

I'm working on an opus codec for the asterisk voip app. Googling DTX found:

To paraphrase, if there's silence long enough, opus enters Celt-only mode,
which has no DTX.

Is this still correct ? And is the suggested work-around effective?

Hi Sean,

I haven't had time to investigate this specific issue, but DTX is
currently undergoing significant improvements. So it's quite possible
that master has already fixed the issue you're mentioning. If not, then
it's about to be fixed since there's ongoing work to add DTX to CELT.
