opus - Feb 2015 - About the --speech option in opusenc

Hello,

I want information about the behavior of the --speech option in the opusenc
program in opus tools package. The documentation only tells that it
optimizes for speech, but what does this mean in terms of sampling
frequency, bitrate, etc.?

Use --speech if you know it's all speech. The encoder will make the
appropriate decisions -- I could not tell you what they are (and they
can change in the future). If you're not sure or if you can have either
speech or music, just do not select any option and the encoder will try
to figure it out.
