Hi, RE: OPenSSH Problems I created a package for OpenSSH 3.7.1p1 (by using openssl-0.9.7b and zlib-1.1.4). We are trying to deploy the created package in all of our servers, which is already installed different versions of OpenSSH and SSH. I was successful for few servers. In one of our server after doing pkgadd and when i am trying to generate keys i am getting the following errors. Generating OpenSSH server DSA (protocol version 2) key...ld.so.1: /usr/local/bin/ssh-keygen: fatal: libz.so: open failed: No such file or directory Killed failed! Generating OpenSSH server RSA (protocol version 2) key...ld.so.1: /usr/local/bin/ssh-keygen: fatal: libz.so: open failed: No such file or directory Killed failed! Generating OpenSSH server RSA (protocol version 1) key...ld.so.1: /usr/local/bin/ssh-keygen: fatal: libz.so: open failed: No such file or directory Killed failed! ld.so.1: /usr/local/sbin/sshd: fatal: libz.so: open failed: No such file or directory Killed Could you pls help me regarding this problem. if you need any information regarding this problem pls let me know. Hi, You compiled with a shared libz and your binary can't find libz on the target system. Make sure you have libz on the target system or rebuild your source code with a static library. -Scott On Fri, 2003-09-26 at 11:07, srinivasa rao musunuru wrote:> Hi, > > RE: OPenSSH Problems > > I created a package for OpenSSH 3.7.1p1 (by using > openssl-0.9.7b and zlib-1.1.4). Ethier build OpenSSH with libz.a or add zlib libraries to the problem server. -- Tim Rice Multitalents (707) 887-1469 tim at multitalents.net
