openssh unix dev - Dec 2000 - scp progress bar

ISTR that someone had a patch once upon a time to add some of the
favorite features back to the scp output (e.g., transfer rate.) Did that
get rejected or forgotten or what?

I think it was lost in the shuffle.  I'm in mucking with
progressmeter() and I've found the patch that adds in transfer rates and
see if I can merge it into my current work.  Don't expect it in 2.4.0
unless Markus or someone else bets me to the punch or if 2.4.0 ends up
being delayed longer.=)
