COPYING.Ylonen contains: [ GMP is now external. No more GNU licence. ] I don't see how GMP is linked in at all. rms asked me to look into this, because this might constitute a license conflict. Thanks for your help! -- No matter how big the bell, if you only tap it, it can give out only a faint sound. OpenSSH uses the OpenSSL library for its bignum functions. -d -- | ``We've all heard that a million monkeys banging on | Damien Miller - | a million typewriters will eventually reproduce the | <djm at mindrot.org> | works of Shakespeare. You certainly don't help to foster any fond feelings towards the GNU project with remarks like that. If you would have bothered to check the OpenSSH distribution, you would have seen that no GPL'ed component are used in OpenSSH what so ever. There is no misleading documentation either. We would like everyone to be able to use OpenSSH, the GPL does not help with that very much. I know that you disagree, and if you would like to discuss this issue further, please reply to me in private email, so that we don't bore all the people subscribed to the mailing list. Greetings, Niels.

The other files contain all the relevant information. Niels.
