This is an Sun Ultra-I running Solaris 7. Open SSL is was compiled under /usr2/jjtest/openssl/openssl-0.9.6 and the installed in the default /usr/local/ssl directory. I've run ./ configure with the "--with-ssl-dir=DIR" and still get the following error: checking for OpenSSL directory... configure: error: Could not find working SSLeay / OpenSSL libraries, please install What can I do to correct this error? -- Jose L.
