[Bug 3863] New: Feature Request: Add option to list configured hosts from SSH config
https://bugzilla.mindrot.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3863 Bug ID: 3863 Summary: Feature Request: Add option to list configured hosts from SSH config Product: Portable OpenSSH Version: 10.0p2 Hardware: All OS: Linux Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 Component: ssh Assignee: unassigned-bugs at mindrot.org Reporter: literallybugcreator at gmail.com Hello OpenSSH team, I would like to propose a new feature for the SSH client that would allow users to easily view all configured hosts from their SSH configuration files. Feature Description: Add a command-line option (e.g., ssh --list-hosts or ssh -L) that displays all Host entries defined in SSH configuration files (~/.ssh/config and /etc/ssh/ssh_config). Use Case: Currently, users need to manually inspect configuration files or use external tools like grep to see which hosts they have configured. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching the assignee of the bug.
